Course Description
Business Law is a course designed to provide students with a solid foundation in understanding the legal issues related to topics of business law and personal law. Areas of study will include how laws were formed, procedures in civil and criminal cases, making contracts, terminating contracts, responsibilities of minors, being a consumer, purchasing power, purchasing insurance, personal and real property rights, starting a business and leadership skills. Knowledge of business law is useful for all students, because all students eventually assume roles as citizens, workers, and consumers in their communities and in society at large. Business and Personal Law provides the students with facts and information that will be of value to them in the management of their personal business affairs, as well as in preparing for their life’s work.
